This book is damaged; the front cover is partially detached. I don't remember exactly what the item description said, but if that was in there, it was in technical terms that I didn't understand--and I'm a librarian. I don't expect a used book to be like new, but there would be some way to say "will fall apart if you turn the pages" that would be clear. Or of course, the information might not have been in the description. Like I said, I don't remember. Anyway, I'm glad to have a copy but if I had understood its condition correctly I would have spent a little more and bought a better one.
