The lexicon is mainly architectural and each term is arranged in the order of the "Egyptian alphabet", being discussed in ordered way just to compare each other in a summing up conclusion to each section. Each term discussed is accompanied by a selection of examples from original sources, as well as comments upon the history and development of its senses and spellings. There are a lot of new proposals as how to understand such-and-such a word. This is an in-depth and fundamental study for anyone interested in understanding the art and the symbolism of the Egyptian temples.
