Watch out...this is not a modern book.
It is a Dover reprint of an Egyptian grammar published in 1920. If you are interested in the Egyptian language and script, don't waste your money.
I'd recommend either Collier and Manley's "How to Read Egyptian Hieroglyphs" ,or Allen's "Middle Egyptian". Check the reviews for these 2 books, and decide which best suits your goal.

This handbook begins with a discussion of the nature of Middle Egyptian and its script, followed by instructions for forming nouns, pronouns, adjectives, numerals, verbs, and other grammatic elements. A list of hieroglyphs, a vocabulary section, and reading exercises complete a book that will aid students or anyone interested in ancient Egypt.
