(More customer reviews)I have no idea why I'm the first person to review this wonderful book. I am using this with my homeschooled first grader right now. We are doing ancient history this year and right now we are doing a short unit on ancient writing. We studied cunieform writing, Egyptian hieroglyphs and the Rosetta Stone. My daughter got a real kick out of learning the Egyptian alphabet and writing her name on a cartouche. The book includes stencils of the alphabet which comes in handy. It also contains a lot of fun activities to practice hieroglyphic writing. This book could probably be used by students from first through sixth grade.
